Emilio Melendez opened Wholesalemall.net in 1990. He was asked by some friends that were manufacturers / wholesalers to help them sell over the Internet utilizing his computer experience and knowledge. Emilio Melendez decided that creating a Wholesale Mall that would carry wholesale products from companies that were committed to giving the retail customer the best product at the best price.  Emilio Melendez has always said that he utilizes the KISS technique (keep it simple and stupid). He agrees that DESIGN with simplicity in mind, complexity is unnecessary and should be avoided. Emilio Melendez has worked very hard to incorporate companies from all over the world, were he currently works with the leading companies from the USA, Colombia, Puerto Rico, China and India.

Emilio Melendez says there is nothing more fulfilling than seeing his customers receiving orders from all around the world. He has experienced the reality of receiving orders from so many countries. He once said he sold Brazilian swimwear to China, Hong Kong and Japan, something that surprised him. He says the first time he received an order from Ireland for a company from Colombia he then new anything was possible.
