Darling Said to Plan $3 Billion Investment Fund in U.K. Budget (Bloomberg)
March 22 (Bloomberg) -- U.K. Chancellor of the Exchequer Alistair Darling will propose this week a 2 billion pound ($3 billion) fund to encourage corporate investment, said a person with knowledge of the plan, an effort to spur the economy while containing a record budget deficit.

DeKalb Pike β Between Wednesday, Feb. 24, at 11:30 p.m. and Thursday, Feb. 25, at 8:10 a.m. β A man reported that many electronic devices, cash, fishing reels and several pairs of sunglasses were stolen from his vehicle. The thief got in by smashing a window.

Gems TV closing, eyes deal for Jewelry Television (National Jeweler)
Singapore--Gems TV Holding Limited announced Monday that it is ceasing its U.S. operations and has submitted a proposal to acquire an interest in Multimedia Commerce Group Inc. (MMCG), the company that operates on-air rival Jewelry Television.
